1940 Ford Half-Ton Pickup 2 dr Truck

This is a magnificent Ford hauler, created at over $100,000 when all the receipts and labor costs were added up.  It is arguably one of the best custom trucks on the planet.  This truck is truly a labor of love, and it shows.

This exterior of this pickup is finished in Tropical Coral with a matching leather and tweed interior worthy of a corporate jet.  There is a masterfully detailed 350 CID V8 under the hood with tuned port injection, performance ignition, and great breathing ceramic headers.  The ride has a TH350 automatic transmission, Mustang II independent front suspension, Jaguar rear end with independent rear suspension, 4 wheel power disk brakes, and power rack & pinion steering.  It drives as well as a new F150.  This truck looks much better than those new haulers, though.  The top has a 2-1/2 inch chop, the doors have been reversed suicide style, custom Budnik alloy rims and the extra nice hardwood bed make this Ford something special.

Inside, the cab keeps the weather at bay with Vintage heat and air conditioning, and the driver can adjust the tilt steering wheel, set the cruise control, sit back and drive, watching the engine conditions displayed on the custom instrumentation.  An AM/FM/CD stereo system pumps out the sounds while you cruise in comfort.  The truck comes with a custom cover and has a hidden trailer hitch for pulling a small utility trailer.  Those who see this pickup see all the value that has been poured into it.  We invite up close and personal inspection in San Diego county, and we are open to high quality street rod trades, too.  Thanks for looking!
